Toyota’s powertrain warranty covers the bZ4X 1 year and 10,000 miles longer than Polestar covers the 4. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the Polestar 4 ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

There are almost 40 times as many Toyota dealers as there are Polestar dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the bZ4X’s warranty.

J.D. Power and Associates’ 2024 Initial Quality Study of new car owners surveyed provide the statistics that show that Toyota vehicles are better in initial quality than Polestar vehicles. J.D. Power ranks Toyota above average in initial quality. With 124 more problems per 100 vehicles, Polestar is rated below average.

The bZ4X Limited’s Advanced Park can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. The Polestar 4 doesn’t offer an automated parking system.
